This 3-day seminar is designed for healthcare professionals who primarily address postural and musculoskeletal disorders. It provides valuable and immediately applicable assessment and treatment tools.
By integrating the visceral chain of the throat and thorax within the broader context of muscular chains, the course offers practical solutions for:
Dysmorphic patterns
Musculoskeletal disorders of visceral origin
Functional disorders of the upper digestive tract, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems
(i.e., dysfunctions not explained by organic pathology)
By the end of the course, participants will understand the reciprocal influences between visceral structures and the musculoskeletal system.
They will be able to assess and treat osteomuscular and myofascial mobility in the cervical and thoracic regions, along with their associated visceral contents, and integrate these skills into a global bodywork approach.
This course complements the 9-day training “Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen and Pelvis”, which is organized into three seminars.
The two modules can be attended independently and in any order.
The thoracic cavity
Muscular-aponeurotic walls, diaphragm, and thoracic inlet
Endothoracic fascia organization
Physiology of the thorax
Embryology basics, innervation, and vascularization
Referred dermalgic pain
Osteoarticular release techniques
Muscular release techniques
Visceral techniques for mediastinal structures
Treatment of pleural and pulmonary structures
The cervical spine and visceral structures of the neck
Fascial organization of the neck
Osteoarticular, muscular, and visceral release techniques
Assessment and treatment sequence
The course concludes with a final knowledge assessment and the awarding of a certificate of completion.
